The 7th Guest: Input & Cursors
The 7th Guest input, cursor and hotspot research directory: planned references for mouse behavior, hit testing, hidden inputs and cursor animation.
Input behavior ties the player interface to scripts and scenes. This section groups planned research on mouse handling, cursor appearance and animation, hotspot interpretation and less obvious input paths. These topics matter when a modification changes an interaction rather than only a graphic or a sound.
Keep visual presentation, hit-testing rules and the action triggered by an input separate when investigating a discrepancy. The directory below supplies topic-specific destinations for that work. Its planned entries are not yet implementation guides; published articles should explain the evidence and the steps needed to reproduce a result.
This catalogue currently has 15 entries. 0 are published; the remaining entries are planned documentation, not completed guides.
